Metaphor from a high-school English-class essay (via jours) (via marco)

Not a metaphor, that’s a simile.  ”He’s a pimple on the boil of the butt of humanity” is a metaphor, while “He’s like a pimple on the boil of the butt of humanity” is a simile.  Either way, the point is taken: he’s got an undesirable characteristic.
