The Bees Knees

I discovered this delightful treat at serious eats. I love it because it’s ever so slightly sweet, and doesn’t take 30,000 different types of specialty alcohols.

.5 oz lemon juice
.5 oz honey (water it down ever so slightly with hot water so it will mix)
2 oz gin

- Mix this puppy up in a shaker, strain.
- Imbibe in gulps.

oh… one note. I make this sucker in bulk (see step 2). If you’re going to mix together a bunch of honey in a jar with a bit of hot water definitely make sure the lid is on all the way before shaking.
