Congress should recuse itself from… everything?
California Rep. Darrell Issa, top Republican on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, said it was “nothing short of disturbing” that SEC employees viewed porn during the worst financial crisis since the Depression: “This stunning report should make everyone question the wisdom of moving forward with plans to give regulators like the SEC even more widespread authority.”

Interesting. My problem with Rep. Darrell Issa is that he’s a member of Congress: the institution that is a haven for the likes of Rep Larry “Wide-Stance” Craig, Rep Newt Gingrich (admitted adulterer), Rep Chip Pickering (admitted adulterer), Sen. John Ensign (admitted adulterer), Rep Bob Barr (serial adulterer), Rep. Vito J. Fonsella (admitted adulterer), etc, etc, etc.

By Issa’s own logic, Congress should question the wisdom of moving forward with plans exercise any of its own authority.

Idiot.
