I’m not sure either; but I do know that this product category is a great showcase for the display technology (and I’m even hopeful that I’ll find one with my name on it this holiday season). E-ink is super easy on the ol’ eyeballs, and I see it as a prototype for next- or future-generation general-purpose computer displays. Current iterations are obviously not appropriate with screen refresh rates measured in seconds instead of per-second… but I’m looking forward to the possibility of a low gp-computing device.
